Dolls in bed was an experimentally piece. I wanted to experiment with colour and lighting. I use barbie dolls because they played a big role in my life, to the point were I slept with them every night in bed. And that was good memory. But in this photograph they look evil with the red lighting and the fluorescent highlights give it a futuristic feel.
